Lithum iron, the building blocks of LiFe

Life
I don't know why, but I felt inspired to blog about life in general. Life is too good to us right now. Sure as a family, we have our rough spots, aruging, disobeying, grounding and such but I know that Heavenly Father put us together as a family on purpose. As mom has said, we compliment each other's personalities and there's not much more to say then that. A laid back personality to a more tense and back and forth. We have a dad that is excelling at what he does, a mom who can stay home and watch after us hooligans running around. Three kids who do pretty well at school, sure chem, and latin, and precal can be pretty nasty but that's why we have people who can help us in life. Why wouldn't we want to be stuck with these people for eternity, sure they annoy the heck out of us, but that's why we want them, is because they do annoy heck out of us. :)

Another thing I love is loyal friends. Friends who can back you up and support you and just plain love you. Friends that love you even when they know your true self. Friends, whom you have known since the pre exsistence. I guess it all goes back to love. Sure life is hard but the one thing I have learned over and over and over again, love can conquer all.

Sometimes I wonder, why? Why do we have such a beauitful family? Why do we have such incredibly loyal amazing friends who would save us? I don't know why exactly but I know that we are incredibly thankful for such things. The thing we always try to do in life is to live and breath and be grateful for the things that we have.

Wow, what a year 2010 was. A year filled with laughter, adventure and fun. Here are a few of the highlights.

Quinn-DISNEYLAND!!!! Starting seventh grade, becoming a deacon, getting to pass the sacrament, and partying with his cousins like crazy at Christmas. Piano lessons and doing his own laundry also kept him busy. Quinn can also now claim that he has slept in a snow cave!

Oliver - started debate, Teacher's Quorum President, loves ninth grade. Disneyland, airsoft and paintball (Aliens in the Rockies). Painting models, video games!!! hanging out with friends. Also vowed that he would never go on a boat on the ocean again!

Katie- DISNEYLAND!! EFY!!!! Arise!!!!!!, Hawaii, camping with Ciarra, first formal dance, , girls camp, teaching swim lessons, having a little sister (Jocelyn) for a week, debate tournaments, swim meets, DRIVER'S LICENSE!!!

Mom- Hawaii, camping in Idaho, Victoria (with hunny bunny of 19 years), substituting at Snow Horse Elementary, teaching CTR-8, downsizing cars twice, from a mini-van to a P.T. Cruiser, to a convertible bug. Watching my children grow, and wondering where the time goes.

Dad-having fun with family; camping and vacationing, c0-teaching CTR-8, buying a new building for a growing business, paintball, anniversary trip with his hunny, and escaping to the "movie room"

We had so many adventures for 2010 and we are incredibly thankful for them. It brought us closer as a family and we look forward to 2011 to see what it will bring. (Mom just hopes it goes a bit slower!)
